        Help! I have a problem 🙂

        I checked in the User Guide first, but this article only lists how to delete a contact, not a user...

        I have a User that I want to delete - while retaining that person as a contact. How can I remove someone from being a User?

        I have removed that person's permissions (so they can no longer access D.T), but they are still listed as a User. {The problem is that one User (me! It's me!) has 2 User accounts (Admin and my personal User account), which is causing confusion. I need to delete one of those accounts (the personal User account), while retaining the contact.}

          @User27 - In the WP Admin (backend), you can search for the user and select "Remove", which is WordPress' version of delete. That removes the user account.

          How you handle the contact record has several options. You can merge the two records into one and archive the duplicate. If you're wanting to keep two contact records, one associated with the Admin user account and one that represents you as a separate contact, you can go to the personal contact record and right under your name where it says "User created on [Date] you can click User and select Standard contact type and save it that way.

          Let us know if this solves your issue or if we need to dig more.
