I assume that's one of the primary keys used for duplicate checking.</p>
<p dir="auto">Use case:</p>
<p dir="auto">We are creating Users who are multipliers who will never login to DT.  But a unique email address is required for the user.  Adding in a fake email address is a workaround but not a pretty one.</p>

<p dir="auto">So the validation for a User comes from the fact that this is a WP user which requires an email address.</p>
<p dir="auto">Instead of a fake email address, <a class="plugin-mentions-user plugin-mentions-a" href="/user/corsac" aria-label="Profile: Corsac">@<bdi>Corsac</bdi></a> suggested the better workaround of setting up a single Gmail address and then establishing Aliases in Gmail for each of the Multipliers.</p>
